Who is Pinstriping Neil? Pinstriping Neil stands for real Kustom culture, fine lines, and a hell of a lot of passion for true craftsmanship. Growing up in an American-influenced environment in Germany since 1976, his path into the world of V8 engines, flame paint jobs, and custom bikes was almost inevitable. From the mid-1980s to the early 1990s, Neil worked as a DJ with Sounds Unlimited for the U.S. Armed Forces in the Rhine-Main area – American music, cars, and lifestyle were already a natural part of his everyday life back then. In 2009, he picked up a brush – and found his true passion: classic pinstriping. Shortly afterward, he had the opportunity to learn from well-known names in the scene such as Herb Martinez and Sahne Syx. Inspired by legends like Von Dutch, Ed “Big Daddy” Roth, and Tommy the Greek, Neil proudly carries on the tradition of Kustom culture. . His portfolio? A colorful mix of Harley-Davidsons, classic BMWs, U.S. cars, hot rods, hand-painted signs, and one-of-a-kind pieces for well-known personalities. Everything is done by hand – and always with style. Neil also became known through appearances on DMAX, on Hessian public radio (HR3), and through features in various custom-car and classic-car magazines.
